OUR PROCESS
CJ Olson’s advanced project design improves results and controls costs by tailoring the plan to
meet your unique needs. As your partner, we collect data using a variety of methods, we process and analyze your data with precision, and we present your data with clarity, in a way that will most benefit you.

Data Collection
CJ Olson’s expertise in data collection ensures reliable data. We’ll employ the right combination to meet your needs:

  • Focus Groups
  • Interviews
  • Self-Administered Surveys
  • Usability Labs
  • Audio/Video Recording
  • Mystery Shoppers
  • Taste Tests
  • Mall Intercepts
  • Product Placements

Quarterly Surveys
We conduct quarterly Insights Polls using an omnibus survey format. Our polls get your key questions answered at a modest price because you pay only for the questions you submit and you share the cost of the sample database. Your data is cross-tabulated with our standard demographic questions, and no one else sees the results of your questions.

Data Processing
CJ Olson’s in-house processing and analysis assures clients of confidentiality, precision, speed and cost-effectiveness. Once your data has been collected, our data processing deptartment uses a variety of analyses to provide an easy to understand discussion of the results.

Data & Information Management
In addition to coding, data entry, and data interpretation for your project, CJ Olson will also create new or update existing databases for your use. We can conduct secondary research and offer hand-tabulation for special projects.

Reports & Presentations
Get the results of your research in a format that works for you. Choose an executive summary or full report, and schedule a presentation at your convenience. CJ Olson’s tailored reports translate numbers and responses into plain language. Reports include cross-tabulated data tables, meaningful analyses, and a summary of findings, conclusions and recommendations. Our formal presentations clarify the results of your market research using the latest audio/visual techniques. Following the presentation of findings, CJ Olson facilitates a “next steps” session with marketing staff and others involved in the study to aid in the development of an action plan for best use of the data.
