Wayne A. Ramaker joined CJ Olson Market Research as President in February of 2006. He and his wife Tianna purchased CJ Olson in May of 2004 from Carolyn J. Olson, Founder. Prior to joining CJO, Wayne served for 4 of his 14 years at Homeplans.com as President & General Manager based in St. Paul, MN. Homeplans.com is the nations largest marketer of home designs and home plan magazines and a division of MOVE, INC. based in Los Angeles, CA (MOVE; NASDAQ). Prior to his role as President, Wayne held positions at Homeplans.com including Vice President of Sales and Marketing, Vice President of Operations and also Manager of Telemarketing & Customer Service. Prior to Homeplans.com, Wayne worked as Director of Consumer Affairs for Damark International and also as Telemarketing Manager for Fingerhut, Inc. and Cable Value Network, now QVC Home Shopping Network.
Wayne sees a tremendous opportunity for CJO in helping companies to better understand their customers, products, services, and markets. He intends to work with his wife and partner Tianna to grow the organization by providing affordable, high quality market research solutions. Wayne also intends to lead CJO in expanding its capabilities to include business development and consulting as well as helping companies with direct marketing, sales, customer service and fulfillment.
Mr. Ramaker completed his bachelor’s degree in Business Administration and Marketing at Westmar University in LeMars, IA in 1983. He and Tianna are the parents of 2 young children, Mya and Brock and a golden lab named Truckee. Wayne’s hobbies include leisure boating, hunting, fishing, trips to the BWCA and just hanging out with family & friends.
